DAY 01: ARRIVE IN ARUSHA
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), a representative from Across Africa Nature will warmly welcome and pick you up with a private 4×4 safari vehicle and transfer to Arusha (approximately 50km or 31miles) a 45 to 50 minutes drive on a tarmac road for overnight at River Trees Inn or similar (Dinner included). Starting from pick up at the airport and throughout your safari, our experienced and passionate driver-guide will give you an enriching knowledge about the people of Tanzania, wild animals’ behavior, their natural environments and other intricacies. Our representative will have a short safari briefing session with you at the lodge and leave you to relax and have dinner. This will be a truly life-enriching safari experience that will be lifetime memorable. Karibu Tanzania!

DAY 02:  ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK 
After breakfast with your picnic lunch, drive to Arusha National Park for half day game viewing, dinner and overnight at Hatari Lodge.

DAY 03: ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK TO MKOMAZI NATIONAL PARK  
After breakfast take lunch boxes and drive to Mkomazi National Park game drive. After taking hot lunch, half day game drive, dinner and overnight at Hatari Lodge.

DAY 04 MKOMAZI NATIONAL PARK –AMANI FOREST NATURE RESERVE 
Early morning game drive and return to the camp for breakfast.  Collect lunch boxes and depart for Amani Forest Nature Reserve to explore its rare flora and fauna.  Enjoy game view en-route and spectacular Pare Mountains Ranges, Mt Kilimanjaro, and Usambara Mountains. At Amani Forest Nature Reserve learn about butterfly farming, bird watching, hiking, walking tours,   Amani botanical Gardens, second largest garden in the world, dinner and overnight at Amani Forest Camp (Emau Hill).

DAY 05: AMANI FOREST NATURE RESERVE TO SAADANI NATIONAL PARK 
After breakfast, early morning depart for Saadani National Park. Spend full day exploring the flora and fauna of the park. Dinner and overnight at Sanctuary Saadani River Lodge.

DAY 06: SAADANI NATIONAL PARK TO MAFIA ISLAND MARINE PARK  
Enjoy a morning game drive around Saadani National Park. Collect lunch boxes and drive to Dar Es Salaam and enroute stop at Bagomoyo, a historical town.  In Julius Nyerere International Airport, take a flight to Mafia Island Marine Park.
Check-in for dinner and overnight at Chole Mjini Lodge.

DAY 07:  MAFIA ISLAND MARINE PARK  
After breakfast, spend full day exploring and relaxing on the fascinating beaches and marine life of Mafia Island Marine Park and undertake water activities and games. Dinner and overnight at Chole Mjini Lodge.

Day 08: MAFIA ISLAND MARINE PARK TO ZANZIBAR 
Early morning take a flight to Zanzibar. Check-in for lunch, dinner and overnight at Zanzibar Serena Inn. After checking inn, take walking safari around stone town and other famous historical sites, buy souvenirs.  Later in the evening take a flight back home.

Options: Travelers who want to continue with Southern Destinations (e.g. Mikumi, Selous, Ruaha) and Mountain climb (e.g. Mt. Meru or Mt. Kilimanjaro), their extended tour can always be prearranged by our travel team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
An African safari is an authentic adventure. For certain parts of this safari, expect driving on dirty road which may be bumpy and dusty here and there to make your safari really an African experience. However, our safari vehicles are designed to make your safari comfortable under difficult terrains. So, any person with physical fitness to sit on a safari vehicle is fit for this safari.
