Payment Policy

  1. Across Africa Nature Ltd requires a minimum deposit of 50% of the total costs to confirm your tour with the remaining balance of 50% to be paid in full 45 days prior to your tour departure date and first service by our company. Your booking is fully confirmed by our company and becomes legally binding between you and Across Africa Nature Ltd once the 50% advance payment is received in our bank account.
  1. Reservations will be cancelled if final payment is not received by the due date with full loss of advance payment. Any changes made 45 days and above of the tour departure date and first service by our company will not be charged any cancellation penalties. We will refund full amount but less the transferring expenses.
  1. For international bookings and non-residents of Tanzania, payments should be in Euro, US dollars or UK Sterling. Tanzania nationals and residents can pay in Tanzanian Shillings currency at the rate of exchange applicable at the time of payment.
  1. Full payment i.e 100% is required at the time of booking for reservations made within 45 days prior to the commencement of tours.
  1. The company reserves the right to withhold all or part of the service (at its sole discretion) if payment is not received in accordance with the above conditions.
  1. If you choose to modify the arrangements after the commencement of the tour i.e. change accommodation or the duration of your stay, the company can accept no liability for any loss or additional expense incurred and no refunds will be made.
  1. In serving our clients, on behalf of the clients the company will have to subcontract other independent companies such as hotels, lodges and airlines which are not subject to direct control of the Across Africa Nature Ltd. In doing so, the company will always at its own discretion make every effort to ensure that the services provided by subcontractors are of expected standards. However, the Across Africa Nature Ltd will not be liable for any personal loss, injury, property damage, or loss which may occur as a result of using the subcontracted services. In the event that any vendor is unable to provide contracted service, Across Africa Nature Ltd will endeavor to provide the client with alternative arrangement of similar standards, whenever possible.  If the client is not willing to take the alternative arrangements offered by Across Africa Nature Ltd, any refund entitled to the client will be subjected to the terms and conditions of the relevant subcontractors.
  2. Payment Mode. A Client is free to choose payment  by international bank transfer or online payment by credit card.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Any cancellation of your confirmed booking must be communicated to the Across Africa Nature Ltd in writing. The following penalties will apply from the date on which written cancellation notification is received by the company:-
  • 30-44 days prior to tour departure date and first service: 20% of the total amount.
  • 14-29 days prior to tour departure date and first service: 30% of the total amount.
  • 02-13 days prior to tour departure date and first service: 75% of the total amount.
  • 0-12 days prior to tour departure date and first service: 100% of the total amount.
  1. There is no refund for any unused portion of your safari once commenced. Cancellation penalties on airfares are additional and are not included in the above cancellation charges. Cancellation Insurance for the total land tour cost is suggested.
  1. Across Africa Nature Ltd is not responsible for any changes in airline schedules, airfares, cancellations, loss or damage to baggage and over booking. All claims for any loss or injury suffered on any airline must be made directly with the airline involved and not Across Africa Nature Ltd.
  1. The accommodations described in this brochure may not be available and may be substituted for comparable accommodations. Single rooms may not be available in certain situations due to very limited capacity of hotels and lodges in Tanzania.
  1. Safari costs are based on known costs and rates of exchange at the date of insert and any significant changes beyond the control of Across Africa Nature Ltd will be passed to passengers. Tour costs also include expenses incurred by Across Africa Nature Ltd for printing and distribution, advertising, sales and marketing, promotion, provision of toll free reservation service, fax charges, and a commission to your travel agent who handles your reservations and assists you with obtaining necessary visas.
  1. Safari prices includes: All expenses for drivers and vehicles appropriate for the itinerary as set out (i.e. for transfers, game drives, drivers’ lodgings) unless stated in the itinerary; Government taxes, training levies and service charges, All entry fees except where specifically indicated separately; Normal communication costs required to make the reservation.
  1. Safari prices excludes: personal insurance; Airport taxes; Landing fees (for charters); Visas; Gratuities to drivers and porters (other than hotel service charges); Beverages; Laundry; Other personal expenses of tour members (i.e. telephone calls etc); Any tour services requested that do not appear in the itinerary.
  1. Force Majure: refers to any circumstances where the execution of contractual service is prevented or affected by factors beyond the reasonable control of Across Africa Nature Ltd including but not limited to acts of God, war, threat of war, civil strife, disease epidemics, industrial dispute, terrorism activity, natural disasters such as weather conditions, earthquake, volcano eruptions, fire, governmental actions, and other unexpected and unforeseen occurrences. In these circumstances, Across Africa Nature Ltd shall not be liable to pay any compensation or otherwise be responsible for any expenses or losses the client may incur where we are forced as a result to cancel, delay, curtail or change the client’s arrangement in any way or where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligation is prevented or affected.
  1. In the unlikely event that Across Africa Nature Ltd has to cancel, amend or curtail your travel arrangements due to our negligence, our failure to exercise care in making the arrangements for you and /or breach of our contractual agreement, we will take liability.
  1. Travel Documents: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that their passport, visa, health certificates, vaccinations or any other documentation required for the trip are obtained and are in order. Should Across Africa Nature Ltd incur any cots as a result of failure by the client to fulfill his or her responsibility such costs shall be recovered from the client.
  1. Law: The Company’s contract will be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Tanzania. Accordingly each party irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of Tanzania courts to settle any dispute or matter arising under contract.
  1. Once the booking is confirmed, you automatically agree with our terms and conditions as stated above.
  1. Across Africa Nature Ltd reserves the right to amend or delete any terms and conditions without prior notice to clients.
