DAY 01: ARRIVE AT ARUSHA CITY

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international Airport (JRO), a representative from Across Africa Nature will warmly welcome and pick you up with a private 4×4 safari vehicle and transfer to Arusha (approximately 50km or 31miles) a 45 to 50 minutes drive on a tarmac road for overnight at Mount Meru Hotel or similar (Dinner included). Start from pick up at the airport and throughout your safari, our experienced and passionate driver-guide will give you an enriching knowledge about the people of Tanzania, wild animals’ behavior, their natural environments and other intricacies. Our representative will have a short safari briefing session with you at the lodge and leave you to relax and have dinner. This will be a truly life-enriching safari experience that will be lifetime memorable. Karibu Tanzania!

DAY 02: ARUSHA CITY– TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Leave Arusha at 08hr00 for Tarangire Camping Safari with packed lunch for a full day game viewing.  Tarangire National Park has named after the river that flows through the park and provides a permanent water source for the thousands of animals making their home here. In the evening drive to Mto wa mbu for dinner and overnight at haven Nature Camp.

DAY 03: TARANGIRE TO NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast, depart early for the Ngorongoro Crater for your game drive. The Crater is a world-famous destination that is not to be missed. Early morning breakfast then leaves to Ngorongoro for half day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Crater support about 1000 lion’s population, approximately 20 black rhino, and the spectacular Lerai Forest is one of the best places in Africa to spot leopard. Possibility of seeing all the big five including a rare white buffalo. This is one of the natural wonders of the world. Overnight at Simba Campsite

DAY 04:  NGORONGORO CRATER- SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Transfer to the Serengeti Plains, game drive en route.You will pass through the Ngorongoro Highlands before entering the Serengeti which means “endless plains”.Outcroppings of rocks and distant mountains provide contrast to the landscape, and acacia trees stand out against the skyline.  Depending on time of year/season, availability, and your preferences, overnight at Seronera campsite. Optional:  Stop at a Masai boma (village) and/or Olduvai Gorge on the way (entrance fees apply $18).

DAY 05: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Game drive in Ndutu or inside Serengeti, depending on where the migration is located. Overnight at the same Camp.

DAY 06:  SERENGETI – ARUSHA CITY FOR DEPARTURE

Drive back to Arusha area for evening/overnight flights home (earlier flights require you adding on a night in Arusha and flying out tomorrow). Or, if your budget allows, take a safari flight back from Serengeti to Arusha airport (extra cost).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

An African safari is an authentic adventure. For certain parts of this safari, expect driving on dirty road which may be bumpy and dusty here and there to make your safari really an African experience. However, our safari vehicles are designed to make your safari comfortable under difficult terrains. So, any person with physical fitness to sit on a safari vehicle is fit for this safari.
